  1. I got the rejection letter from UBC ? still waiting for UNBC
  2. Wow congrats!! There's another poster who got in, so I am thinking they're sending the acceptances and waitlisted offers right now. Since I have no change on my dashboard or email, I am assuming the worst. But fingers crossed!
  3. Oh no ? mine says decision pending as well. It seems like acceptance and waitlist offers have gone out, so decision pending kinda points to one direction ?
  4. I'm sorry you didn't get into the program ! Hopefully you will gain acceptance elsewhere! Fingers crossed for you. I've applied for 3 intakes now to various schools and it's becoming increasingly competitive and tbh - I think this will be my last year applying! Really hoping to gain acceptance this time around ?
  5. Wow! I didn't know they had already sent rejections. Do you know what your classmate's work history is/how many years experience she has?
  6. @clwpac - I believe the first two semesters are done together, and then the regular class breaks during summer whereas fast track continues onwards. So I think fastrack continues on for year 2 rather than 3. :)
  7. Finding all of the immunization records is a pain :|
  8. Hi guys! Check your emails, acceptance packages sent out!
  9. @clwpac you're right, it was a very competitive intake so I'm grateful to have been offered an info session and interview invite! Super thankful to have made it this far... @starbuckss I bet everyone is probably second-guessing their answers, I know I definitely am. But what you said is so true, just going to keep an optimistic view in the meantime, and if acceptance for Fall doesn't happen, it's not the end - just try again for January :) fingers crossed that we get through all of this!
  10. I'm definitely feeling nervous because there's so many applicants and a 50% chance of getting in! And we all came into the interview with the same grades and info session essays aren't all marked yet so the interview will make or break our chances. I've just been going over my answers trying to remember how I answered them....I was really nervous during the interview! Kept trying to relate the questions back to any of my own personal experiences. I was so anxious during the first few questions but it got better after answering a few and all of the instructors were really nice. I'm just going to try to relax now until the middle of May and accept whatever happens!
  11. @2221 I've only received an information session invitation; haven't received any e-mail about the interview. @starbuckss based off of previous threads, people suggested dressing business casual to both the info session and the interview.
  12. @percythepup oh no! I am so sorry you didn't get in . Didn't you have a 3.75 GPA?! Best of luck in the LPN program!
  13. @jayron20 hopefully there was just a mix-up with your upgraded marks transferring over! That's what happened to me. If you have higher than a 3.75 GPA, you should have been invited to the info session! Your grades and volunteer are really good, so hopefully it was just a mistake. Maybe try calling the Health Studies department on Monday to find out for sure; it's way more stress-relieving to just call and receive an answer right away than wait for an e-mail response! Good luck
  14. @km2014 you seem like you have a lot of post secondary experience and health care experience; you should definitely try applying to BCIT if you have the prerequisites! I've heard they look for candidates that have the type of experience that you have. I'm sorry you didn't get into your dream school, but don't give up hope! You'll definitely get in somewhere with all of your experience! Wish you all the best, and good luck!
