Urgh i just want to know when we will get letters for the interview. This waiting game is horrible!

I got an email from the program assistant my information session is on March 13th now.

Are their 2 info sessions this year? One of the 12th and another on the 13th?

Hey I have applied for the Nursing program at UFV and I have recieved my letter for the information session on March 12. I was only given one date. I have talked to some people who got accpeted last september and they said that some people get an interview date at the same time they received the date for the info session, and some people did not. Im really nervous for both but Im really nervous for my essay questions because that is next week. Does anyone know what they might ask us or what they have asked in the previous years. I just want some questions to practice my writing!

There not really "essays", more like 3 critical thinking questions. The responses to the questions are about a paragraph each. The questions are mainly about you , and how you would handle situations at the hospital (decision-making skills), what your goals are.. if you have ever failed at something how did you react to it. They seem easy but when theres 180 people writing your answers have to be in depth ! And for the interview theres usually a letter that comes after the information session letter. Applicants with high grades

(at least 2 A's) and a lot of volunteer hours get them before they even write the essay questions. There's still two weeks left !

Hello!

I am new to this thread.

I am a highschool 2012 graduate. Due to my volunteer reference not getting in on time, my application finally became complete for this intake. I received a letter for an information session on MARCH 7. I noticed that everyone else in this thread has it on March 12 or 13. It is unbelievably relieving to know that I am not the only one stressing about this process. I didn't get an interview letter though My grades are 1 A, 2 B's and 1 C. Oh man :/ But I have completed over 70 hours of volunteer and completed all my electives. Wish everyone the best on their essays!

I'm also in the March 13th info session. I'm assuming they're doing the same as last intake and grouping the info sessions into "new applicants" and "returning applicants". I noticed in my letter it said that its from 4:00 - 4:45, nice and short just to write the essay answers!

Anybody get an interview letter yet? I haven't checked my mailbox in a bit, since I'm not really expecting an early interview invitation, just curious to see if they're out there! Good luck everyone!

Hello everyone,

New here on the forum and also applied to UFV for Sept 2013. I am going to the info session on the 12th and starting to freak out about it a bit...LOL !

Looking back at some of the previous intake posts, it seems like most people that got in last intake received their invite to the interview prior to the info session ? Hope that's not the case, because so far no interview letter for me...

Anyone got their interview letter yet ?

I spoke to UFV today. I was told they haven't sent out any interview letters yet.

I've talked to some people that wrote the 'essay' during the info session and its really just 3 questions somewhat relating to nursing or about ourselves. Are we suppose to tie them together and respond to all 3 in an essay or can we do 3 separate paragraphs?!

They are totally different questions. You get 3 questions and then answer them each individually.
