I am just finishing up my prereqs this semester and will have everything ready to go after I get my marks back from finals in a few weeks. I am excited/nervous! I am 24 and have been working at an eye surgery office for the past almost 4 years so have lots of hours to apply with. I feel old...! But I know in the big picture life is just beginning! Anybody else applying for the January 2016 intake? Or has anyone applied before and have any tips?
I did email them and they calculated my GPA with my Douglas english grade which was only a B+. I have to email them back to find out why. They might have made a mistake or perhaps they didn't receive one of my transcripts with my higher english mark on it.
Sending you all good vibes this week that you hear about an interview! I have my interview on Thursday and I am just a littttttle nervous... Thinking of you guys. I know this waiting game is torture!
ya, they used my douglas english like i thought. They are looking into recalculating my gpa and will get back to me tomorrow. My Gpa will be 3.7ish and i have over 850 hours so fingers crossed they will give me an interview.
I can no longer access my application, every time I try to pull it up the page won't load and a sad face appears. Is everyone else having the same issue?
It's a little bit higher because they blended my chemistry with an A I got at Douglas and my calculation is with a B. I'm not sure how much it increases my GPA, I'd imagine just a couple percent.
