UFV Fall 2019

I'm starting this thread for anyone that's applying to the nursing program at UFV for the Fall 2019 intake.

We can talk about our applications, GPA, volunteer experience, and just share general information about our application proccess/experience.

Hello everyone,

I am also an applicant for Fall 2019! I have all A’s for the prerequisites but barely any volunteer hours, so I’m really counting on my essay/interview to pull me through! I was wondering how many people were at the info session? Mine is on the 11th :)

I was at the one on the 25! They said they had invited 120 people in total I believe. There were about 60 at mine

Not yet, they said they’d send them out by April 23

Hey Kaitlyn,

I’ve been looking at other forums and I think we’re in the same boat! I’ve also applied to a bunch of schools (8: ubc, ubco, tru, oc, unbc, U of A, UFv, and viu). I’m really worried that the deadlines won’t match up, as in the acceptance deadline for one (if I even get accepted lol) will be before I even hear back from another, especially bc the deadline for acceptance for UFV is so late, May 31.

I feel you! My top choice school is camosun because I live in Victoria but so far my plan is to just accept the first school I get and then if I get accepted to camosun I'll let go of my seat at the other school. So far I've been waitlisted at oc and cotr and I didn't get accepted to Selkirk or viu so I guess we'll see

I feel okay after the essay, but I'm just so nervous about receiving the interview invite! Hbu?

Yeah - super nervous. I feel like my essay wasn't eloquent enough.. i was panicking in the last 5 minutes trying to quickly finish it so I don't know if it was good enough haha

Yeah, same here! But hopefully they look past thatt, considering we had such a short amount of time to write it!
