Hey everyone,
This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Fall (September) 2021 intake.
We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.
I submitted my application beginning of October when the applications opened up and applied with 3 A’s and 1 B in Pre calc 11. I also have about 800 hours at a hospital and 80 hours at a care home.
Good Luck everybody!
Just now, Neet said:Hi everyone!
My application has also updated to conditional acceptance however I have gotten into BCIT so I will be rejecting the offer and another seat will open up! I had applied to the 3 year program but as of right now I don't know which one I'm in.
Congratulations to everyone else!
I applied with:
CHEM 11: A
BIO 12: A
ENGLISH 12:B
PRE-CALCULUS 11:A
I also had a BSc from SFU. And over 1200 hours working as a clerk at VGH as well as over 100 hours working as a BI.
For the essay portion it honestly helped having done university as I was used to writing an essay with a time crunch. And for the interview portion I just made sure to answer everything how I would. As well as look up some possible questions and practiced answering those.
Hope this helps anyone!
Hey congrats everyone! I've also got the conditional admit, I am most likely going to accept the offer from UBC Okanagan's program though so there's another spot that's opening up for anyone waitlisted - congrats again everybody who got in, and best of luck to anyone applying for the next intake!
I've also been accepted! Congrats guys!!
I've also been accepted at VIU so chances are I'm going to decline my acceptance at UFV.
My grades were:
BIO 12: A
FOM 12: A
CHEM 12: A
ENGL 12: A
I also had about 200 hospital volunteer hrs from two different locations and one was a leadership position.
For my essay, I prepped by watching some ted talks about nursing LOL and a couple of Youtube vids.
this was also my 2nd time apply with my first being the JAN 2021 intake
Best of luck to you all!!
