Ufv 2021 fall nursing

Published

Hey everyone,

This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Fall (September) 2021 intake.

We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.

I submitted my application beginning of October when the applications opened up and applied with 3 A’s and 1 B in Pre calc 11. I also have about 800 hours at a hospital and 80 hours at a care home.

Good Luck everybody!

Yes it is to late to apply for the  LPN program. There were only 16 seats for the lpn program at ufv

Hey guys, I got the email for the interview invite at 2:30, so if you’re waiting it seems like they send them out at different times. When I checked my status earlier it did say it was awaiting review

Hello, I got my email for the interview at 12:20. Good luck to everyone!

did anyone make it to the interview with 3 A 1 B? Not sure if I should try to upgrade my mark for next time or where I went wrong in the application ? anyone also know if those who didn’t get in can get some sort of feedback?

I know a couple of people last term who had 3A’s 1B and they also made it past the interview

@keiraabbott I do have 3 A's and 1B, however I am in the process of upgrading the B to and A because I know that does give you a much better chance at getting.

You deffinetly can get feedback, it does take a while though since they're still the current intake process

Hey!

for those of you heading to the interviews or have done them before in the past, how are you preparing yourselves? Does anyone have any tips, and suggestions or even ways to calm the nerves ?

Best of luck!!

Good luck guys!

Hey guys, The interview went pretty well I feel, can't say much due to the confidentiality agreement but all you really need to have is a good grasp on the nursing profession and it's role and its basic principles and morals - which I'm sure if you're heading into nursing you should know already!

Just answer honestly and I'm sure you'll do fine. Now it's just a waiting game; good luck to everyone!!
