This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Fall (September) 2021 intake.
We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.
I submitted my application beginning of October when the applications opened up and applied with 3 A’s and 1 B in Pre calc 11. I also have about 800 hours at a hospital and 80 hours at a care home.
@jesszawada Hey girl it still says "ready to review by program" I just got the email at 1030 though so don't panic, last time I applied it took them a couple of hours to send all the invitations out! I also applied to the three year option not sure if that made a difference or not.
Mine says ready to review as well and I also received the email around 9:30. I’m sure there still sending a bunch out since it is super early!! Good luck everyone :)
The ones whose applications says not admitted was this your first time applying or second? I’m going apply again after I do my LPN now to the bridge in program because I don’t want to waste time. But that’s in like 2 years LOL

It was my second time applying. I applied for January intake last time and made it to the interview but I wasn’t one of the individuals selected for the program.
my application also says not admit. But I had also applied for the lpn program at ufv just in case I didn’t get into the BSN program. I got accepted to the lpn program for the September intake last week. I wonder since I got accepted to the lpn program if that effected my BSN application.

I feel ya, 2 years might sound like a long time but I’d rather do that too than sit around waiting to get accepted. Did you apply for LPN at the same time as the BSN? and what school are you thinking of doing LPN at? this was my first time applying to BSN, it’s been such a nerve wracking couple months so kudos to everyone who’s gone through this process before and haven’t given up!!
I wanted to apply for the LPN program at UFV But I checked the requirements and it said that you need the A&P to get in which I didn’t have, I would have to take that complete it and then apply which again would be waste of time for me. I’m currently 20 so I’m trying to just do the course at this point. I’m going to CDI college actually to do my LPN program I know it’s a private college so it would be more money but that’s fine for me at least I’ll finish it by the time I’m like 22.
After completing my LPN, I’m pretty sure I have to work for 1-2 years and then apply for the BSN program which would be 2 years accelerated program since I’ve already done LPN. Hopefully when I apply next time I get in. And yes OMG hats off to you guys who have applied the second time and still did not get in but keep going. This was my first time applying but I’m so discouraged, but it is what it is.
