This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Fall (September) 2021 intake.
We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.
I submitted my application beginning of October when the applications opened up and applied with 3 A’s and 1 B in Pre calc 11. I also have about 800 hours at a hospital and 80 hours at a care home.
It was online on zoom. I’m not sure what my exact GPA was because they look at our high school grades according to their UFV grading scale but I have 3 A’s and 1 A- according to the UFV grading scale, which would be 3A’s and 1B which was the A-. I’m nervous for the interview but hopefully whenever I get the email I’ll practice some general questions that they could potentially ask.

This will be my second time applying for Ufv! I also applied for January 2021 and made it to the interview however was not accepted due to the competitiveness of the program. I’m applying with 3 A’s and 1 B (which I’m in the process of upgrading) I’ve also completed both anatomy and physiology courses. I have around 170 volunteer hours with fraser health and am currently working as a behaviour interventionist with a healthcare company. Hoping things work out this time around! Good luck everyone ☺️

I saw your review, you reported that you didn't make it for fall intake even with 3'A. I am super worried about my application ?. How do you do in the interview ? Did you do the essay part ?
@Morenita linda did you attend one of the info sessions? we should find out in the next couple days if we’ve made it to the interview portion of the application process
I just checked the previous emails and it says May 11. I got my previous email for the info session at 204pm on April 8 so hopefully an email is coming soon today. Do you know if we will receive one either way?
Hi Everyone. I took a screenshot of the dates from the powerpoints. It states the invitation for interview is May 12 and May 19 is the interview. June 10 is letter of acceptance

Did you do your interview in person with Covid? I am asking because I am out of province. What was your GPA, how do you feel about the interview.
