Hey Everybody,

This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Winter (January) 2019 intake.

We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.

Did anyone get any mail to interview session twice? Like they got it couple days ago and then on Friday as well?

Does anyone know where the interview will be held at? I already booked an interview tomorrow but don't know where it's happening.....

I actually don't know either.. maybe they will email and let us know?

All interviews happen at UFV same place as the Info Session. Different rooms though. You're with a group of eight and take turns with 8 interviewers you get 2 minutes at each table/interviewer. Or at least thats what happened last intake.

so we meet at the same room as the info session then go different room for an interview?

No not the same room, its a conference room. There'll be signs up telling you where to go. Just breathe. You can do this!

How do you guys feel the interviews went?

How many points is the interview out of?

13 for interview, 16 for GPA, 6 for volunteer experience and 4 for the essay

How many would u need to be offered a seat

Depends on the score of everyone else applying. If there are 2 people with 39/39 points, 5 with 38/39, 3 with a 37/39, 12 got 36/39 and so forth they just go down the list. First 32 people with the higest score get in. I think they also do half points...? (Not completely sure).

So it totally depends on the score of the other applicants.

But just know that the winter semester is harder to get into because there are only 32 spots open since 16 go to the LPN bridge program.
