UFV BSN Winter 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey Everybody,

This is a thread for everybody applying for the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for the Winter (January) 2019 intake.

We can talk about our grades and GPA's, volunteer or work experience's, other schools we're applying to and so forth.

Good Luck everybody!

Hey guys,

I'm wondering how you guys felt about the interview, what was the experience like, what did you guys do to prepare!

:)

Hey everyone,

i was wondering if someone could help me... I've applied for the September 2019 entry and I've submitted all my forms and given my references the form as well but they won't show up on the online application thing as received. Would the school tell me if my job and volunteer doesn't count towards health care experience? I'm really worried because I want a shot at this intake!

Unless things have changed the date to have everything in by is the 31 of Jan so you still have time. It does take a while for all the documents to be processed. I'd suggest calling up and asking.

Just be you. I didn't really do much to prepare watched a couple youtube movies on nursing school interveiw questions. They want to know your answer to the question, who you are and what you think.

There were two rooms in each corner was a table with a nursing instructor who gives you a piece of paper with a question you read it and have 2 min to answer the question. A buzzer goes off and you rotate to the next table. 8 questions in total.

Congrats. You've made it this far.

From someone else who was waitlisted, there is hope of still getting in!

How long after did you hear back if you got accepted or not?

I was told I was not accepted but put on the waitlist on May 9th and then I received an email on July 3rd that there was a spot open for me. I know someone in my cohort that was informed of an open spot about a week before the semester started!

So anytime really until the semester starts you can be emailed about an open spot this is only if you are on the waitlist. I don't know if they have ever gone through all the people on the waitlist and emailed people that applied but weren't on the waiting list. Who knows!

Good Luck everyone!
