I figured I'd get a thread started for everyone applying to the Accelerated Nursing Program at UF for Summer 2016. I know this thread was done last year, so it'd be nice to continue the tradition and help each other as potential Gator Nurses next year!
I'm currently looking to apply to UF, but I'm also debating other schools in Florida. However, I've only taken the GRE, and I would still need to take the other exam that the other schools require as well. How does everyone else feel about their application?
Perhaps someone can clarify: the NursingCAS website states that "verifying" your materials means that they are comparing your entered coursework with transcripts. For UF's program we are only required to upload unofficial transcripts to NursingCAS (we send out official transcripts with our post-bacchalaureate application rather than to the NursingCAS application). My application still says "verifying". I know a few other people had mentioned they had this problem as well and it has me a bit worried given the application is due tomorrow. Thank you!
My app also says that it is verifying, but I did receive an email from UF Admissions Residency last Thursday about my Florida residency since my first undergrad was out of state. So I'm assuming they have received my post bac app.
Anyone else hate the snail mail process of the app? It's so uncertain and extremely dated.
I applied through snail mail in November and haven't heard anything yet, which is making me nervous! Nursing CAS seems to also be taking forever to verify everything.
