I figured I'd get a thread started for everyone applying to the Accelerated Nursing Program at UF for Summer 2016. I know this thread was done last year, so it'd be nice to continue the tradition and help each other as potential Gator Nurses next year!
I'm currently looking to apply to UF, but I'm also debating other schools in Florida. However, I've only taken the GRE, and I would still need to take the other exam that the other schools require as well. How does everyone else feel about their application?
Yes, I'm taking Stats. I'm guessing if they send out notices in Feb., they would accept students conditionally with the stipulation that they satisfactorily complete their final pre-reqs before the Summer term.
I thought that they sent out acceptance letters through the mail after looking at the 2015 UF accelerated nursing all nurses page, but my roommates that applied to the generic BSN said they found out through email. It may be different for the two programs, though. I do know that they found out like in the first week (I believe) of March last year and the year before.
Hey I'm new to this post. My Nursing Cas now says completed instead of verifying. Did anyone else's change? Also did anyone else who completed prerequisite Fall 2015 get an email asking to submit unofficial transcripts showing the grades you received?
Hi vikea. I'm new too. My NursingCAS also changed from verifying to complete as well. Who sent you the email asking to submit unofficial transcripts for the prerequisite grades you received Fall 2015. Was it from NursingCAS?
