UF accelerated BSN 2021

Hey everybody! Anyone applying for the above mentioned program? I haven't had luck finding any threads, in regard to this, for that specific year. I would like to find people who are so we can keep in touch through this process.

So we’re down to one more day. (Hopefully)

Anyone else having trouble sleeping? My anxiety is at an all time high right now.

This week has been the most stressful ever. I’ve felt nauseous and anxious all week. I just want to know :(

So on the other post, someone said they emailed about decisions. ----------------------- is on maternity leave and someone named ------------------------ is temporarily covering her. He said that if they are lucky enough to get everything done we will know this Friday. If not, next Friday. This does not sound promising for tomorrow. ?

-------------------- is amazing and he knows how stressed we all get around decision time. I was prenursing before some personal stuff happened and I had to change tracks but now I’m back on for the ABSN. He was my advisor and he’s fantastic

If your stressed or anxious, I recommend meditation and tapping. Not only will the be helpful now, but I'm sure that they will be extremely useful during the program! Insight Timer and Tapping Solution are both great apps with free sessions. They've helped keep me from being anxious.

So kinda in a pickle right now.. UF is my dream school and my upmost top choice, but if I don't know by tomorrow I'm gonna have to pay an extremely expensive down payment at another school just to secure a spot in an ABSN program. And with covid and everything, I really don't have the $$ to be throwing it around everywhere. Do yall think if I send --------------- an email explaining my situation, he'd be sympathetic/understanding and maybe let me know? It seems out of pocket but I figure I'd ask and see what you guys thought.

He won’t. That’s not fair to everyone else who will have to wait another week. I know it sucks and your situation is hard but because it is such a good program and they want to keep it fair, they release all results at the same time.

I don’t know that he would be able to let you know anything. I would definitely reach out to him and explain your situation. Ask him for any guidance he can give you. After that, if it doesn’t help, try reaching out to the other program. Keep us updated. I hope it works out for you! Hopefully we will all know tomorrow anyways. What other school is it?

I didn't get the email.. thats sounds weird. Becuase they never gave us an exact date. It was always end of Feb start of March.. 

 

Question! 

Do we check the application status in the Nursing CAS account or is it something else? Is it as UF portal? Thank you!

it was an email that another applicant had sent to ken asking about if the decisions were going to come out this Friday. It wasn’t sent out to everyone. I was just giving y’all an update. 
 

they should send an email. I saw in the last couple years for some reason a couple people didn’t get in emails. If you don’t get one, check your UF post baccalaureate app located status. It will update on there.

Got it. That makes more sense now. Urgh... After all the posts saying it should have been tomorrow, I was really hoping to get an answer this week. But from what I understood they still might send information tomorrow.

They still may. It’s good to know so we don’t get too disappointed if they don’t though. I’m hoping that he was just saying it to prepare us for a possibility of it not being tomorrow. But the “if we’re lucky enough to get everything done” part I don’t like. ? it is what it is though.
