Hello Everyone!

I'm getting this forum started early for those who are applying to the UF College of Nursing's Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program!

Feel free to get the discussion going... How do you stand among others (GRE, GPA, etc)? Go Gators! :)

That hold is only for you because you are a student and advising is required for you as a UF student.

Hey everyone! Been stocking this page a bit, but finally decided to join officially:) The time seems to be going by so slow! Trying not to think about it is tougher than I thought :/ So I guess the General consensus is that they look at each individual ove, rather than one thing more important than another? Also, does anyone know when we get a notice regarding our APP status? Like, whether it has gone through review yet? I was told we would only get a notification if something is missing, but I'm also assuming we would get some sort of e mail too. Thanks!!

I do not think that is the case because other full time students who applied did not have a hold on their accounts

Is it just me, or is the time going by super slowly?! I feel like I need to vent in here! My BF can't take it anymore haha

Does anyone know if you do not get accepted into the ABSN do or will they offer you a seat in the BSN program that starts in the fall?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the Fall BSN program is for students on the regular track who don't already have their Bachelors Degree in something else. I wish!

Yea, I saw it as two professional/academic but now I do see where they say AND. Well, hopefully that doesn't disqualify me because I submitted two academic recommendations. But it seems like several people sent in two of one kind so maybe it won't be a big deal. But Kenneth Foote did say we would have a chance to right any wrongs so if that's the case then I think we can just send in another letter.

How is everyone holding up ?? I barely can sleep lately. I have random urges to call UF CON with tedious questions.

No worries. I can barely sleep as well! Bleh. But I know they won't tell us anything...I've called a few times already haha. We just gotta wait this out! But I find this page pretty good for venting :p good luck to us all!

Well I'm happy to hear I'm not alone. I find myself reading over my essay and resume just to calm myself down:dead:. Have you applied to any other nursing program ? Is UF the only nursing program that require GRE scores rather than TEAS scores ?
