UF Accelerated BSN, Summer 2018

Hi all!

It's pretty early on but I'd love to meet and chat with the potential applicants for this program. I also think it'd be great to have this forum in case we stumble upon application questions and such. Maybe some successful applicants in the past may pop in to say hello as well!

What are your feelings about this program or even UF in general? Are you applying to other programs? Where are you from?

I would still like to know where we get this UFID from though, that part still eludes me.

I'm working on the application we have to mail in and i'm confused about the part where we have to calculate our jr/sr. GPA. I went from having 52 credits at the end of my sophomore spring to having 67 at the end of my junior fall. It says to calculate the last 60 but which ones do I include? or do I just not include my fall semester of junior year at all and just calculate all of my classes after?

I emailed UF about that and this is what they told me "It is the last 60 credit hours towards finishing your Bachelor's degree. Anything after that would not be counted."

My hours worked out to 59, so I left it at that.

I called admissions and they gave me my UF ID over the phone!

I just included the ones in the semester that put me over 60.

On NursingCAS, go to program materials and there is a tab for "Questions"

Oh no sorry! I meant the 10 essay questions. Do I submit those 10 questions in the personal statement section of documents? I just couldn't find anywhere else to submit them.

I believe that is where you upload the answers to the questions, yes. It doesn't make sense to put them anywhere else, and I believe they consider it your personal statement essay.

I had the same question! I am thinking about going to office hours for it. And do you guys know if we have to put all the grades in even if you repeated a course or do you just put in the best grade?
