UCSF New Grad Residency Program April 2021

I just wanted to make sure there was a place to talk about the New Grad Residency Program at UCSF that begins April 2021. Does anyone know how many applications they expect to receive for this cycle? Also, does anyone have insight to which units will open for the October 2021 New Grad cycle?

Hi Folks, regarding this residency program and others around the Northern California area, do these programs typically prefer or favor students from in state or from the same area? I have been accepted by NAU ABSN and CSULA ABSN and am hoping to eventually work back in N California (born and raised) and would appreciate any insight as to whether school location has any bearing on applying to these programs? Thanks for any help!

Does anyone know if you are able to apply when you don't graduate until May or if they will take into consideration you'll be graduated and have license before the start date of the next cohort?

From what I've read, they require a license before application. 

Does anyone know if there's a list of departments that they usually hire into?

On their site it still says that the application period will be announced in the future for their October cohort but other than that I haven't heard anything. I might try and email a recruiter on Monday to ask about the application dates if I still can't find anything.

Not yet but I just sent an email to a different person so hopefully I will get a reply soon and I'll post any information they give me here!

I looked and it's slightly updated. It says now that for the October cohort, you need to be licensed by 9/25/21, but nothing about application dates.

they updated their website and apps open July 16-30th and interviews will be in august!

Hello all! Would anyone kindly consider sharing their resume or cover letter with me? I have not received one interview off from the numerous new grad residency programs I have applied for. This is a long shot since this forum hasn't been active for almost 2 months but for those who got interviewed, were there any panel interviews for any of the units? If so, how many other candidates were being interviewed with you and how many Q's total were you asked? Thanks in advance!
