UCSF New Grad Program

Is anyone else having trouble with this application? I have filled out the profile at least 5 times now and it will not save or let me apply! Can't get ahold of anyone in HR either! So frustrating. I just want to apply!

Are you using Mozilla? I had the same problem, then realized it's probably not compatible with this browser. I tried it using Internet Explorer & it worked.

I had the same problem, but switched to Internet Explorer and it worked.

Is UCSF currently accepting applications for their new grad program? I dont see anything on the UCSF career site. May be I missed it?

It should say "Registered Nurse Training Program (Clinical Nurse I)." You can also do an advance search with those keywords. It closes on Jan. 17, tomorrow.

Wow, the application process was a bit annoying. Both Mozilla and Safari didn't work for me so I ended up having to borrow a friend's PC to use internet explorer just to submit the application!

Anyways - did anyone else get a notification from the Recruiting Team (under the career interface) prompting to complete a questionnaire? I received it about a half hour after submitting my applications (on saturday night) -- however, since then, I have been unable to access the questionnaire. I had NO LUCK accessing the system yesterday on any browser (IE, mozilla, safari) I'm just worried if this questionnaire is part of the application... and if failing to complete it prior to the deadline (yesterday) would exclude me from consideration. so annoying!

I also had issues with the new interface, luckily I was able to apply after a few hours of frustration. I did not get the notification from the Recruiting Team, I even checked my spam mailbox, hopefully it is not apart of the application...

sasagrrrl: I also got the notification from the Recruiting Team, but it wouldn't allow me to complete the questionnaire. Were you able to complete it?

@as27 - nope!! :( I called HR yesterday and they told me that they were going to look into it and call me back. Haven't heard from them. I also haven't been able to access the website at all today (again). I'm gonna follow up again tomorrow so I'll keep you updated..

@TIWRN - I just double checked and it appears that I got the questionnaire for only 1 of the particular jobs i applied to (and i applied to a handful) -- so it could be that the ones you applied to didn't require a questionnaire :)

Has anyone heard anything further from UCSF??

I'm curious about how many new grad positions are actually available and when they might start to contact applicants...

Hi there,

(A) I filled out the application without any issues. I did not have to fill out a questionnaire for my application.

(B) I have not heard anything from them either. I was trying to get a hold of HR to find out what is going on but I had no such luck. :-/

-InTime.

I have heard nothing and HR hasn't returned my calls.

I got an email from the PCICU (the unit where I completed my senior preceptorship) nurse manager on Wednesday to set up an interview for next week. Didn't hear from any other units. My battle with the UCSF system was about 4 hours long at 2 in the morning before I finally went to bed and I still emailed susan (rn recruiter) with my resume/cover letter just in case. I have no idea how many positions are actually available. Good luck to others who have applied!
