UCSF New Grad Program 2023 Questions

Hello all, 

I am at the last semester of the ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. I'm expecting to graduate in early Jan and plan to take the NCLEX early Feb and no later than late Feb. I would like to know the timeline for applying to UCSF's nursing new grad Spring program 2023. Any past experiences with UCSF to share will be greatly appreciated.

exactly!! there is no point in telling us that our application has been forwarded if we didn't get an interview. I just want a job offer already ?

T_T I can definitely agree with that waiting is the worst part of applying for a new position. Cannot get rid of that anxiety and stress out of my head with a slight hope of waking up checking my inbox for a positive news LOL

I just got a call for UCSF's cardiac ICU to interview this week. Don't give up!! They're still sending them out and it seems like there's a lot of slots open.

Definitely tricky times.

Was invited to interview by two departments; one of them has already offered, but I don't have the next interview until this Weds. 

Don't want to be impulsive and accept the first offer just in case something else comes through!

OMG CONGRATS on the offer ! Which unit?

I would say wait until the other interview before accepting. I think they would understand that for sure.

Also can I ask what the timeframe was from the interview to the offer?

I would say to accept the offer unless the upcoming interview is your preferred choice? Unless they make you sign anything on the spot you can wait until they send the papers. Worst case, tell the upcoming interviewers you have a time sensitive offer but their unit is your preferred choice? Goodluck!
