Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs

Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?

According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.

Let the commiserating begin~

LOL same haven’t heard anything!

Glad I’m not alone! They probably just have a really tough decision to make.

Does anyone know how many people the adult hematology/oncology unit will be hiring for this cohort?

I’m not sure but I put this as my #1 preference as well. Did you hear back yet?

I have final interview with Hem/Oncology on Thursday. I am not sure how many people they are hiring.

Does anyone know how many people the adult transitional track are hiring? More specifically 10 CVT or 6CVT?

Did anyone get called back for acute care peds/ peds onc?

Did anyone get a denial email yet? I still haven’t heard back from Adult Surgical for a final interview but I think it’s too late at this point ?

Anyone not hear anything back at all for Adult Transitional? Never got rejected but didn't get invited for a second interview. I'm assuming its too late :,)

hi, has anyone done their 2nd interview for adult transitional? how did it go? I have mine tomorrow, 08/24 and I'm super anxious about the types of questions they're going to ask. if anyone can give any insight or share how their interview went that would be very appreciated. thanks in advance!

Perhaps they'll reach out with denials after they conduct their second round of interviews this week.

I'll share a bit about how my third interview went, not to give anyone an unfair advantage but more so to ease any anxieties. My third round was more of the same -who are you/why UCSF/why this unit, along with 4 more very ...generic questions if you will. They also proceeded to freestyle about 3 more questions. If you feel like prepping look up generic questions/themes and come up with a scenario for each as well as things you learned from them.. Find a friend to talk to through each, and reheorifice what you might say. And lastly, it sounds generic to say but...BE YOURSELF - don't be afraid to say/ask something that may indicate that you don't know something ... YOU ARE A NEW GRAD NURSE ofc you don't know much.

I don't know if this will be of any use --this is just what helped me prep and it may help you.
