Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs

Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?

According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.

Let the commiserating begin~

Did anyone else get an email about periop interviews being next week instead of tomorrow? Wondering if that's for everyone or not.

I didn't, though I got the emails from earlier today about how they'd let me know if I was selected for further interviews. What did it say?

I also received the email in the morning but not any follow up. I was under the impression based on the email that they'd let us know yesterday if we were selected..but maybe I misunderstood

Anyone still not hear back from Adult Transitional? Didn't get rejected but no interview invite either..

Whew, that second OR interview was tough. For those of you who also interviewed, how did it go?

I had mine yesterday! I feel like I bombed it LOL it was definitely tough and having all those people there made my anxiety go crazy I’d lose my train of thought LOL. How’d yours go?

For those that got mission bay emails yesterday morning, I was told by my recruiter that there was a change of plans in the department so they’re hosting interviews next week! So we’ll probably hear them reach out Monday I’m guessing

I have an ambulatory interview this week...did they ask you clinical questions for the OR one? what made it tough ?

Honestly it's hard to tell how it went and what the interviewers were thinking. Someone got up and left while I was speaking (and of course with zoom that person becomes the main speaker that you're looking at) and it completely threw my confidence LOL. I don't think it went badly per se but there are definitely some questions that I wish I had answered differently!

I'm sure the style of questions is going to vary by track but I wasn't asked any "What would you do if..." questions (though I've heard other people in other tracks got some of those). I was however asked all of the questions I dread answering most LOL. The fact that I was by myself interviewing with a panel of 6 different people, some of whose expressions were hard to read was definitely anxiety inducing, but part of me wonders if they intimidate you on purpose to see how you'll hold up in high pressure operating room situations!

Is it your 2nd interview? Good luck!

For those of you who interviewed for the OR, how long were you in the hot seat for?
