Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs
Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?
According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.
Let the commiserating begin~

Also does anyone happen to know if they said they’ll reach out late this week or early next week? I totally blanked out
I'm not interviewing for peds, but what kinds of questions did they ask? My periop interview is going to be me alone with a panel of really important sounding people and I'm scared LOL

It was one basic nursing interview question and one very specific scenario question for ours with no questions being repeated across 3 candidates

No worries, I mean none of us candidates were asked the same question as another candidate. So even for the basic nursing interview questions we all had different ones as well as different scenario questions (unlike the first interview where everyone got asked the same 3 questions

When I saw the email about how many people were gonna be in our panel I almost fainted LOL. As far as what’s to be expected they said it was really just why we want a position in the OR. Do you have any experience?

Yep! I have an ADN and got an interview invite for the Peds Critical Care track (ICN, PICU, PCICU).
Mine said the same thing for the Peds CC track! I'm wondering if maybe they're interviewing in waves since it seems like everyone is hearing back from each track at different times or only some people are hearing yes/no. I'm not giving up hope yet on the other tracks I haven't heard from! Still waiting to hear from Adult Transitional and Peds Acute.
Trying to answer all of the questions I've seen asked of everyone that shares: Only heard back so far about Peds CC and have an interview later today (group 9 out of 11). I didn't really rank them very clearly in my cover letters as I kind of wrote each one specifically for the track and ranked units vs tracks. None of my track's status have changed since originally updated 8/14 (peds acute), 8/8 (peds cc), 8/2 (transitional). Preceptorship in ED and internal candidate with almost 1 year of cardiac ICU pca/CNA experience, so still hoping to hear back and get an interview for transitional since its cardiac step down. Hopefully that helps! We've still got plenty of time to hear back from other tracks! The good news is at least we know tracks are also sending rejections so if we haven't gotten a rejection specifically yet, there's still a chance for an invite!
