Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs
Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?
According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.
Let the commiserating begin~

I don't know how many spots were available only an email that I got a second interview, and they would send me more info soon about an interview date. I got a rejection letter for adult surgical my second choice. Periop, was my third choice. I haven't heard anything from that track.

Okay, I put Adult Transitional as my 1st and Pediatrics CC as my 2nd, but haven't heard anything. I did get a rejection from Adult Surgical (3rd). I am not sure if I should just move on to another hospital are keep waiting.

I did my senior preceptorship in the MICU. What about you? I don't have any experience working in the medical field, but I did get my CNA license

I’ve also only heard from adult surgical and applied to adult transitional and medical as my other two. Not sure if it’s time to just give up hope. I am at a bit of a standstill myself I feel like a lot of the new grad residency programs are filled for the fall. I applied to Stanford valleycare and the two HCA hospitals in San Jose but I’m not sure what else is out there and open to apply in the bay. Anyone have any recommendations?

I am in the same exact position. Rejected from most of the bay area new grad programs. I have applications pending for CPMC (sutter affiliate), you may want to check there. There was also an ICU opening at St Mary's (Dignity/CommonSpirit) that I applied for. It said experience preferred but not required.
I don't believe these are new grad programs.
I am from Sonoma so I also applied to Sutter in Santa Rosa, Adventist in St Helena, and will apply to Santa Rosa Memorial (providence) when their have their next cohort which I think is a November or December start. I would assume apps for that might open in maybe October.
The bay is just a hard area to break into especially for programs like this. Just keep hope alive, I'm sure we'll land something soon. Best of luck with everything.

Did you hear back from Good Samaritan in San Jose for their StaRN program? I attended an interview today and it seems they’ll be done interviewing tomorrow
Also in regards to applying there, they mentioned even having some later openings for late October/November for some other departments so maybe they’ll have a second round of cohort interviews if all the spots aren’t filled? Don’t lose hope! You can also look I to st Joseph’s dignity health I heard they have some new graduate openings
