Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs
Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?
According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.
Let the commiserating begin~

Wish everyone the best of luck!
I am a little confused. When they say list the desired specialty track (no more than three) and rank specialty track preferences do they mean to rank the units within the specialty track?
Do we rank units within specialty tracks at at all? The guidelines just say specialty tracks so I am unsure ?

All applicants are required to include a cover letter with their application. In the cover letter, please address each bullet point listed below:
Desired specialty track - apply to no more than three specialty tracks
Rank your specialty track preferences 1, 2, and 3

Hey there!
I attended the zoom webinar and they mentioned to only rank the specialty tracks as a whole rather then specific departments unless you really want one department in particular (I think ranking the department specifically may decrease your odds if that department within the track doesn’t choose you)

I answered this a bit further down in the thread but for example the ranks would be 1. Adult medicine 2. adult surgical etc

Also sorry everyone, link isn't working for me anymore either. I got the link from emailing the contact listed on the webinar.
I did the same cover letter for all three because of the ranking thing, just in case people who don't follow the exact instructions risk not getting an interview

I applied for Adult Medical, Adult Surgical, and Adult Perioperative. My senior practicum was on a neuro floor which isn't a unit offered but I did see lots of patients that fall under both the medical and surgical tracks, so I'm hoping that's enough
