UCSF 2011 MSN Hopefuls

Hi ya'll!

I'm applying for UCSF 2011 MSN program ACHIN specialty. I know that the MEPN programs are VERY competitive--does anyone know how the MSN programs compare?

How many of you are applying? What have you done to prepare yourself? Have you heard anything about it?

Hopefully we can get some good discussions going and learn a lot from each other here =D

Hey Everyone! I also got in to UCSF Acute Care NP program for fall :) Just curious, Did anyone get anything official in the mail? Welcome letter? Any more "formal" information? The only thing I have received so far was from fin aid regarding how to log on to myaccess acct. Congrats to all who got into UCSF and other NP schools and I can't wait to meet you you guys in the fall:)

Also anyone else making the move to UCSF?? I will be making the move from So. Cal to UCSF :)

I'm in! I got accepted into the PMHNP program! I already have my myaccess account and completed the financial aid info.

The next big decision how my family and I (wife and daughter) will survive for the next 2 years living on a limited budget again =(

I still haven't heard anything!!! I applied to the MSN FNP program and my application still says 'under review.' Anybody else in the same boat? I'm losing hope!

For those of you that have been accepted how did you find out? email? snail mail? phone call?

I just checked my application status and that was it. It said "Admitted" rather than "Under Review"

4. how did you decide which kind of NP you want to be?

I applied for the PMHNP program. I'm a psych / correctional nurse for almost a year now. Been doing this since I graduated 1 year ago. No, I don't know the criteria. I new I wanted to be a psych NP after working with psychiatrists and being around the population of people with mental health issues.

Got a call saying I was 3rd on the wait list for the FNP program a few days ago... The wait goes on.

tolachi, when did you submit your application? did they say what is the latest date you will hear by?

everyone else: when did you guys submit your application? maybe there is a clue into when we will all find out. and anyone apply for peds NP program?
