UCSF MEPN 2022

I applied for UCSF MEPN for 2022! Anyone else going crazy waiting for an interview invite? Has anyone gotten an interview invite?

All the other schools need enrollment decisions before 3/11  pffft ? .

I haven't gotten accepted into any schools yet ?. I have no backup plan if I don't get in this cycle haha

Hi!! I was denied from UCSF but still get email notifications so I thought I'd hop in for a sec. If I could give any advice at all for your interview... if your interviews in the morning practice 2 days before, over prepare. Know what u want to say, memorize things even. Practice through questions, every question and know what u want to say. And the day of, as hard as it is, relax and try not to think about it. I over prepared and stressed so hard and practiced up until my interview for my top school I wanted and I felt like I wasn't having a conversation and I was scrambling to speak, not fully listening to the interviewers questions. It was all out of stress and excitement. It was a good interview, but I knew I could've done better I was just too stressed bc I wanted it so badly.

The next day I had another interview for a school in the afternoon I didn't care for, didn't prepare for at all and it went 10000 times better bc what I practiced the day before was still there but it wasn't scripted, felt natural, and I was answering the questions genuinely and thoughtfully as oppose to wanting to say what I planned to say. I feel like it's good to take a pause after a question is asked, shows your actively thinking as oppose o following a script.

Im not a bad interviewer but the stress got to me. 

Let your excitement for the program show but don’t let it get to u!! U got thissss!

My interview date for the FNP specialty is on 02/17! Found out early this morning.

I think you should be fine. I feel like they will be sending the rest out tomorrow and maybe into early next week! This has been such a long process, good luck!

I’m PNP as well and don’t have an interview scheduled yet.  However, I think we should be fine. We’ll probably have one of the 2/18 slots!!
