Hey everyone! Given that applications are due a month from today, I figured it was about time to start a thread. How are everyone's personal statements and applications coming?

For those already in the program: when did you meet with a financial aid counselor? I'm curious to know the potential aid available ASAP. Thank you.

May I ask what everyone is thinking about wearing to the interview? A suit? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! :D I'm also not sure what kind of shoes to wear, don't know if I should wear heels or flats..

Just joining this thread now...I'll be interviewing on January 30th. Did anyone on here, besides myself, apply to the health policy program?

Silvia.e - There's a funding seminar that should be held early May. Information about that will come out around March. Just make sure to fill out your FAFSA.

starharvest - I wore a suit to my interview, but I'd say dress professionally. You might be doing some touring so wear something comfortable.

Getting excited (and nervous!) for my interview tomorrow! Just wanted to say good luck to everyone interviewing tomorrow and next week, and I look forward to meeting those of you that are in the afternoon session tomorrow!

Brilliant idea! I just started a FB page that is public for viewing called UCSF MEPN 2014 Applicants, please join up!

I am getting really nervous about my interview next week. I've done a few practice interviews and each time I do one I realize I need to make my answers a heck of a lot tighter and to the point. Quite a lot riding on this half hour! I look forward to meeting some of you on Saturday Feb. 1st! Especially this mysterious @samdaman who has been so helpful and informative.

Haha, Ginerd, I won't be there tomorrow unfortunately. I split up the work with another person so I'll be heading up next week's meet and greet.
