UCSF Medical Center New Grad Residency 2019

Updated:   Published

UCSF hasn’t updated their RN training program page yet. Applications are rumored to be opening sometime in the next month or two. We can all keep eachother updated. What units are you all applying to?

8000 applicants?!

For anyone who doesn’t know. Their new grad postings were posted an hour ago. Closes on the 23rd. Inside sources says they are expecting over 8000 applicants like last year! Good luck!

Thanks for the info! Can you tell us how to access it? When I try to access the job search page it says "NULL value"

Try this link.

helpful hint. Don’t try to go to the job page from the RN training page. Start from the main hospital job page and go through that way.

Can you only apply for one Residency posting?

Thank you so much for sharing this! Are we not suppose to submit a cover letter? I noticed that there isn't an option to upload one.

@klaz I saw that too, it seems odd that if they do get 8000+ applicants they wouldn't want a cover letter...

thank you Manea18 ! I was able to find it with your help.

Re: cover letters - I read on previous threads that people combined their cover letter with their resume into one PDF file. I'm not sure if that's correct. I wish they had clarified!

Anyone else having trouble with attaching their resume?

Are they requiring Active American Heart Association ACLS certification right now for their acute care postings?

Random question: do you guys have nursing skills listed on your resume? Part of me feels it's unnecessary because they'll know what we have done in nursing school. Also are you submitting a generic cover letter or tailoring it? I don't see a place to upload it.

@The_Salty_Cat I saw that too..I didn't think we needed it and that we could get cert within 6 months or something
