UCSD New Grad Residency July 2022

Hi all! I wanted to start a topic for the July 2022 UCSD residency program applications since they close today! My first choice unit is ICU & I will graduate in early May. Good luck everyone!

I interviewed last Wednesday 5/4 and I just received a call today 5/11 for the PCU. My status was changed to "consideration for interview" on 5/7. Congratulations to everyone and don't lose hope!

@cheekyrnrn Did you also interview with a panel of PCU nurse managers? I did and haven’t heard back yet but I’m crossing my fingers. I don’t *think* any of them were neuro/stroke but I could be wrong. BIG congrats @HellloRN ! Hoping to join you soon!

Has anyone who accepted for the NICU gotten the official offer letter/details sent to them yet? Also, for those who got offers from other units, when did you have to decide by?

I accepted a position for NICU and haven’t gotten any official info yet.

Did they give you a deadline for when you need to have your license by?

What does your resume look like, do you have a lot of NICU experience? Any interview tips??
