UCSD New Grad Residency July 2022

Hi all! I wanted to start a topic for the July 2022 UCSD residency program applications since they close today! My first choice unit is ICU & I will graduate in early May. Good luck everyone!

I did not get an invitation yet for an interview (maybe bec I'm from out of state) but I just checked online and my status now changed to "referred to the hiring department." Has anyone had this happened? Best of luck to those who have received their interview last week....

Hello! I'm in state and my application changed to "referred to hiring department" as of 5/6. I'm not quite sure if that means there are still position open or if interviews are still be offered but fingers crossed!

My application also switched to “Referred to Hiring” on 5/6. Fingers crossed for us! I’ll let you know if I hear anything!

I haven’t heard back yet. They told me I would hear back some time this week. Congrats @nyrse !!

The nurse manager called me & it’s for NICU.

Thank you! I am still thinking about it haha, I was also told there’s no definitive deadline on accepting the offer so if you haven’t heard yet there is still hope. I interviewed last Tuesday if that helps anyone.
