Hello everyone! Just thought I would start this thread for those applying to UCSD's new grad residency program starting this August! I know the job listing should be posted within the next week or so (:

Does anyone know how Scripps NEW GRAD works? or what is under consideration means for Scripps?   I applied, then they contacted me four times to complete the on-demand videos. My application is now in process and under consideration. The on-demand videos was awful _ I don't think they will hire me

No ? 

I applied as well, still showing as referred ! Maybe its a good sign that no one has received a call. I want to think positive and maybe they just have not gotten around to it.

Some people I know got called to interview for the ICU; a ton of PCU calls

I know two people from my class that got a call and interviewed this week via zoom however, they had clinicals there so I guess it helped.

I heard a bit of both zoom and meeting in person with a 7-10 person panel ? Someone told me they were tired and sounded disinterested. They asked so many behavioral questions and it felt more like a checklist than a conversation.

I had over two years of clinicals on both campuses and different units like ICU and Onc. I will say the culture and org is amazing. Everyone is helpful and supportive as well as SMART and will TEACH you. If you have any questions, they got you. It is not as mushy as sharp or any other hospital, but every unit is close and do activities like karaoke night.
