UCSD New Grad Residency August 2023

Hello everyone! Just thought I would start this thread for those applying to UCSD's new grad residency program starting this August! I know the job listing should be posted within the next week or so (:

What did you guys apply for , I applied to L and D no word yet. Called recruitment and they couldn't tell me much. Bummed ?

Someone from my cohort had an interview last week. I hope this helps

I chose mainly la jolla units. I had mine on Monday.

2 questions: 

  1. Did anyone hear from behavior health/psych yet? 
  2. It sounds like you either get an interview/offer or dead silence.  Has anyone actually gotten a "rejection" letter or email?

They said at the webinar that psych isn't hiring

I ended up choosing 3 units and no preference for the other two! ??

They told me that interviews end May 2nd and they take that next week to decide before sending out offers..hope that helps. :)

Hi! For everyone that sent references in, did you use preceptors as managers/supervisors? I did an internship with 2 preceptors and I feel like they fit the description but I want to make sure they count.

Did anyone that applied for L&D hear anything back? During the webinar did they say they will be hiring for L&D?

I haven't heard anything from L&D either.  They are hiring according to the webinar and the application said 6 or 7 I think.
