UCSD New Grad Residency August 2023

Hello everyone! Just thought I would start this thread for those applying to UCSD's new grad residency program starting this August! I know the job listing should be posted within the next week or so (:

It seems like many people received calls.. unless I missed mine? They only emailed me about choosing the interview days for PCU/tele.

When they scheduled, they also sent me the entire list of PCU units? I was confused, do you guys remember if we applied to specific units or just a general specialty aka PCU vs ICU vs etc.

I applied for L&D.  No phone call yet.  Just the email that stated referred to hiring. 

Could I ask, what did they ask in the phone call?!

When they scheduled, they also sent me the entire list of PCU units? I was confused, do you guys remember if we applied to specific units or just a general specialty aka PCU vs ICU vs etc.

They only emailed me too! I never got a call for pcu/tele interviews. I don't think we applied to specific units, I only know that we ranked them. I put PCU as my #1 and tele as #2

Hi guys, I'm applying for the November cohort. Where did you find out about the webinar you attended in March? I can't find any information about a webinar online anywhere. Thanks!

It comes up as a job posting when you search for job opportunities.  I think for the August cohort it showed up in February some time and the webinar was in March a week before the actual application was posted.

Thanks, did you just search "webinar" on the job listings or was there a better way to find it?

It was under the Entry Level/New graduate category... I think it was titled like New Graduate nurse transition to practice program zoom webinar ? Don't quote me.
