UCSD New Grad Program - August 2013 Postings

Hey everyone! Has anyone applied for the recent postings for New Grad positions at UCSD? I haven't seen much conversation on here about new grad positions so I thought I'd start this one. I applied for Hem/Onc, IMU, and PCU. I'll post on here if I hear anything! Best of luck to those that applied.

I havent gotten a call or email yet. but did they tell you when the start date is if you do get hired?

I got a call for an interview last week on the CCU, but they postponed it for a couple of weeks. So there might be some delays with other new grad programs as it seems like they are going to start them later now (in February).

I was told that I was "one of their top two candidates" for the position on the bmt/onc unit. I'm assuming there is only one position and it is between me and another nurse. They had me send in some documents and are doing a reference check. They said it could take 2-3 weeks to find out. All this waiting is driving me crazy! Good luck to everyone else still waiting for an answer!

Unfortunately, I went through the whole process (for NICU/FMCC), but didn't get the position :( Congrats to those who did!

I also interviewed for the NICU/FMCC position last Friday. The managers said that the start date would be February 4th and they would be hiring 11 people for the two different rotations. Hope we hear good news soon :)

anyone waiting for reference check emails from HR? my manager told me the next step is to receive a reference check email, then from there, decide who gets the job. it's been 4 days already though.
