I noticed there was no forum for UCONN CEIN 2020 entry. I wanted to start one for the accelerated nursing program. A little bit about myself: I have a BA in chemistry, overall GPA of 3.5 and am still finishing up a microbiology and statistics course this semester. I just submitted my application this past January for stamford and waterbury campus and am still waiting to hear back from them. I would love to hear from others about their experiences on this application cycle. Please feel free to share as much as you feel comfortable.
That’s awesome! Good for you! The committee must have met earlier this week! My transcripts finally got in on Thursday and Friday so I guess my application will be looked at the next time they meet, maybe a few weeks. Wish me luck! I have Waterbury for first choice and Stanford second. Congratulations again!!!

Congrats! I'm hoping to get into the Stamford campus as well. I've been working on my application, but waiting for my final grade for A&P 2 to get that transcript sent. I hope it's received within the next 2 weeks so that I can get my application submitted. I really don't want to wait until the exact deadline at all.
How do you find out about the people who are getting accepted? I am so out of the loop I don’t know anyone who’s applying. I would love to know how things went for them after they applied.

I know right? I wish more people came across this forum to share their process and experience. You've already submitted your application, so I can just imagine the anxiety. I'm just waiting for nursingcas to receive my transcripts now. My references and everything else is already done. I wish there were more people to find out if anyone used the professional transcript entry option, to get an idea of exactly how long it took for them to complete that. I would like to submit my application about a month before the deadline so I'm not in that last minute rush of applications for them to review. So I wouldn't want the transcript entry to be something that prevents me from being able to do that.
I love that people are hearing back already! I'm so close to applying - just waiting for my genetics grade to finally post and for my last reference letter to be uploaded. I'm hoping to apply as soon as possible! Congrats to those of you who've gotten in. My first choice is Waterbury because of location, but I'd be happy with any of the campuses.
I thought I posted this already, but I guess I didn't! I was accepted to the Waterbury campus contingent on a passing grade in the chemistry class I am currently taking. I am super nervous now that I finally started this class today! Good luck to everyone! ?
