Hey everyone,

this is my first time on here and I didn't see any posts about 2015 applicants for UCO and/or OSU-OKC. Just curious if any others are out there and how you feel about your applications.

Would love to hear from you!

A girl I know is currently in the program & mentioned it's okay they just want you to have it while you're there. The recertification is a lot easier & quicker too.

So in my letter it says a uniform order form would be attached but I didn't see any order form included. Anyone get it?

Where will you guys be taking the CPR class at? And no, my uniform order form wasn't attached either...?

Just fyi, moore norman tech offers the BLS CPR online for $45!!! I started it today. It is available for one month but it's self paced. You just call them when you are ready to do your skills check off.

Oh and I had no order for either.

Just completed my cpr at moore norman tech today. Did the theoretical part online and went in this morning for skills check off

Hi everyone! I also got accepted into the program at OSU-OKC!!

I'm looking for a CPR class to take as well, I read on a different form, that a current nursing student got their CPR at OSU-OKC. I was thinking about doing a class that is half online, then you go in to do your skills test. Has anyone else done this? I'm currently working during the times of the classes that are offered.

I spoke to ******* (the advisor), and she said they do have CPR classes at OSU-OKC but there have to be enough people signed up for it to make a "whole class". So you can go to the Nursing office and ask one of the secretaries to put you on the list for the CPR class! Idk when the class will be though? Also, I think Lisa did the half online class at Moore-Norman Tech!

I took the CPR class at Moore-Norman Tech last Saturday in the morning. It was easy and the guy that taught it was super nice. We didn't take the whole time either. And there were only 4 people in the class, 2 of which will be in OCCC nursing program with me in January. OCCC also has a CPR class.

Stefaniewebb290 I did the online/campus skills check off at MNTC. It took me maybe 3 hrs for the online part and a 30 mins skills check off.

I do have to say, this was my 3rd BLS class so I have had some experience. Someone brand new to BLS or CPR practices in general may benefit more from an in-class setting.

Thanks for your response! I started the online portion last night, it's going well so far. I'm taking it on the AHA website, I like their setup! This is my second time to take a CPR course so I think I will do fine.
