UCO & OSU-OKC Spring 2015 applicants

Published

Hey everyone,

this is my first time on here and I didn't see any posts about 2015 applicants for UCO and/or OSU-OKC. Just curious if any others are out there and how you feel about your applications.

Would love to hear from you!

Hi there!

Turned in my application today, right after finishing the TEAS. Now the wait begins. ..

I submitted my applications to OCCC, UCO and OSU-OKC. I'm feeling confident that I will get into at least one of the three!

I turned in my application this morning at OSU-OKC I'm hoping for the best and fingers crossed!

How many points for Osu okc did you all have?

I was going to apply at occc but got lazy and didn't want to take the compass test .

I have 99 points for osuokc. So I'm feeling confident about that one, just trying not to bank on it though. My GPA isn't the greatest so my chances for UCO is super up in the air.

How were your points?

Wow! With 99 points you'll definitely get in! I applied with 92 points so we'll see! The nursing advisor told me 85 points was the cutoff last semester & 87 points for the semester before that so we should be okay. I'm not feeling too confident about UCO either, my gpa is okay but it is so much more competitive so you just never know. My friend was an alternate & ending up getting in at UCO with a 3.1 GPA & 74 TEAS score.

Thanks, I'm hoping so!! Hopefully we are both golden for at least osuokc! You have a lot of points too! I hope it's around the same mid

80s average.

That makes me feel better that your friend was at least on the waiting list, my scores are right around theirs.

I hope so too! I've heard great things about Osu okc's program so either one will be okay for me. I'm so impatient so this waiting is going to kill me!

Me too! UCO would be ideal because my end goal is a bachelors but at this point I just want to get started anywhere. The waiting is awful, I'm guessing it'll be late October/early November before we hear anything :(

Same here! I've already finished all the prerequisites for UCO too but, like you, I just want to start. Yes, they told me anywhere from 4-6 weeks from the deadline. If you get accepted anywhere, post it on here!

You guys seem to have better chances of getting in than I do. I only made a 71.3 on the TEAS (this was a last minute decision and only had about a week to prep), calculated 88 points, but hopefully the fact that I have already earned a science degree and have a 3.7 GPA will help me!
