Hey everyone,
this is my first time on here and I didn't see any posts about 2015 applicants for UCO and/or OSU-OKC. Just curious if any others are out there and how you feel about your applications.
Would love to hear from you!
You guys post too when you hear something!!
LisaCrawford- Your GPA is awesome! That has to help tons!!
Lo_19- I'm totally going off just the application and have no other knowledge, but from my understanding OSUOKC is point based. Say if 200 apply but they only take 65, the 65 with the most points would get accepted. Have you seen that point page where it breaks everything down for you?
Hello all! I submitted my application materials to OSU-OKC after I took my TEAS 9/23/14. My fingers are crossed! I have 93 points. Lo_19, I bet the majority that applied had 70-82 points but only those scoring 85+ received acceptance/offer letters. I know several students who have not completed all of their pre-reqs but still applied, hoping that they would still meet the cutoff. I am not certain how the cutoff is determined, but I am guessing that OSU-OKC reviews the highest scoring applications first, working their way backward until they reach acceptance capacity.
The3rdBeatyLady, I also have 93 points! Do you have all the prereq's done? I'm praying 93 is enough to get in! And that makes much more sense than the way the advisor tried explaining it! Thanks so much.
Yes, I have all my prereqs done. I think 93 is a great score. I am very optimistic about our chances!
Guys, I calculated my own score based on the sheet that came with the application. Did you guys do the same or did someone tell you your score (points)?
Since I am a transfer student, I am not 100% sure if my score is correct. It may be of +/-1.
And of my understanding they base their acceptance off of points, GPA, and ultimately classes taken.
I'm still missing nutrition, which I am enrolled in this semester and taking online 2nd 8 week, and microbiology. Anyone else still missing classes?
