UCLA Summer 2017 RN New Grad Residency

U.S.A. California

Published

UCLAs application for their Summer 2017 New Graduate Residency program opened this weekend so figured I'd start the forum where we could all converse, update and support each other through the LONG and stressful process.

STAFF UPDATE

Tell us about UCLA by visiting University of California (UCLA) School of Nursing | Peer Reviews.

I've applied to MICU and my status changed to routed to interviewing supervisor as of 3/27.

You'll hear from them soon! formal invitation for interviews hopefully does not come out until first/second week of april. think positively!

Thanks the information herna372! Do you by chance remember how long it took for your status to change?

Edit: I'm wondering how long we should still be hopeful that our status could change!

Congratulations, goalkeeper2017!

Congratulations, goalkeeper2017!

thank you! I think until they send out formal invitations for interviews, we should all still be hopeful of the application status changing. lets all hope for the best

My status didn't change until end of March/beginning of April. And I didn't get the interview email until end of April. I was discouraged until I got that email, UCLA just takes forever to sort through applications

Was anyone able to electronically sign the bottom of the application where it asked for signature and date?

Hey everyone! Has anyone who put gen peds or PICU as their desired units had a change in their application status? I've heard those departments take longer, just looking for some reassurance I'm not the only one whose status hasn't changed yet. Thanks and good luck to all of you!

Ok, thank you so much! That makes me feel a little better.

I went out of state for school and am in the process of returning home to CA after graduation too. It's nice to see others in the thread that did the same thing...I feel like an outsider returning home now and I'm super intimidated by what I hear about landing a new grad job! Good luck to all of us :)

Hmm I can't recall actually electronically signing it. I guess I assumed that if this was unacceptable then the application would not have been submitted or would have at least been marked incomplete.

Hey everyone,

Has anyone heard from or had a status change for Transplant Surgical Unit?
