Hey Jazzminh, Did you notice in the interview invitation email they ask you to include "one department of your choice" in your portfolio cover letter, but then on the new grad residency info page on the Cedars website it states all nursing residents will start in med-surg. This is confusing. Do you know if we're able to choose anything other than med-surg?

UWorld all the way. I did the content in Hurst (only because I got it for free). The questions and rationales on UWorld are unmatched compared to Hurst and Kaplan. And UWorld is a bazillion times cheaper.

Not my intention at all, AJ. You got the interview! That means they liked what they saw on paper, and that's half the battle with a competitive school like USC. You got this.

Well Congratulations AJ. Yes, I'd say that's some pressure there ..USC being your first interview. I don't know how many interviewees or number of positions there are. I'd just say have plenty of nurse/patient success stories to tell, and have a good answer for.. "tell me about yourself" haha. Oh, and have a good portfolio.

Hi all, has anyone heard any news or gotten an interview for the Keck Versant Aug/Sept 2017 Program yet?

As of this Monday, recruitment had gone through 200 applications out of approx. 800. They said they won't be changing statuses until all applications have been gone through.

No, because it was lots of random hours.. I just added the month/year on the right margin.

I followed their example with the chart, most recent dates at the top, and only included internships/externships/volunteering that was in a hospital/ clinical setting. Other volunteer stuff I added at the end of the resume since I had more important stuff I wanted closer to the top.
