U.S.A. California

UCLAs application for their Summer 2017 New Graduate Residency program opened this weekend so figured I'd start the forum where we could all converse, update and support each other through the LONG and stressful process.

I went to the workshop. We were given false information regarding the ED at Ronald Reagan. This is direct from ED management. Sounds like you work there too...go ask them yourself.

Touche dude. I'm not interested in the ED and didn't ask, my fault. I just know things change often, thanks for updating.

Hello,

I know this is a forum for sharing updates about the process. I am visiting LA soon. Where are some areas or name of apartments I can check out. I wanted to stay close by hospital if possible any advice?

Hi guys, I just tried applying via the "Apply Now" link on their website, but for some reason it won't load the page. Is anyone else having this issue?

You aren't the only one unfortunately. I can't figure out what's wrong but I can't get through to apply or even sign in

Did you contact the recruiting office? I plan to do so tomorrow morning.

It's back up!

I applied to Picu and Peds. Fingers Crossed.

Specializes in CVICU.

Hi Guys!!

I applied to the CTICU and the Step down Med-Surg floors! I just finished my senior capstone in a MSICU where I floated to the CVICU, ED and with the RRT! Good luck to everyone :) Anybody have any idea how long until we will hear about interviews?

So I believe it won't be till the beginning of April when applicants begin receiving e-mails. Don't quote me on that, just an educated guess. Good luck.

I figured it wouldn't be for awhile! Thank you!!! Seems like a good guess!

Glad I found you guys.

I applied to Neuro/Trauma ICU and CTICU. Patience will be a virtue in this waiting game ;) Good luck to all who have applied.

You should have gone to the workshop they did Friday before the application opened. And to a previous comment, yes they hire out of state, they actually have a good balance of candidates.

Was this workshop like an info session? Was this something only internal applicants knew about? I would have loved to go.
