UCLAs application for their Summer 2017 New Graduate Residency program opened this weekend so figured I'd start the forum where we could all converse, update and support each other through the LONG and stressful process.

Congrats to everyone that got an interview! Does anyone know if we will be sent an email if we are not selected for an interview? I applied for the ED and my status still says "online application received".

It seems like most people here have heard back from ICU's or applied to ICU's.

I was wondering if anyone heard back from the Transplant Surgical Unit. (non icu).

Congratulations, Bowser! If you don't mind me asking, when did your status change for transplant ICU?

I haven't seen much activity from individuals who applied to MICU or SICU on this board so I'm curious. I applied for 8ICU as an external candidate but my status hasn't changed. Hope you hear back soon!

Hello everyone,

I just received an e-mail to interview 8ICU - Liver/Transplant today.

Does anyone know approximately when the program start day is?

And any idea of the interview process? -anything would be helpful!

Also got a email to interview today from 6ICU neuro. I actually picked transplant and CT ICU, but for some reason I got the neuro ICU.
