UCLA Summer 2019 New Grad Residency

Hi everyone,

Just starting a thread for all of us who've applied for UCLA's summer residency program.

What units did you apply to? Internal? External? Good luck everyone! ?

@juleslb true, LA is expensive all over. My family lives in Santa Clarita but I really don't want to commute that far. I'm thinking the Valley might be a more reasonable drive and price. The only downside is I'd have to drive the horrible 405.

In one of my interviews they mentioned “5 or so” but I’m not sure exactly

Nope, I haven't heard back from them since either. I wonder if the single interview was it. They did mention that they were hoping to send out results within a few weeks

For those of you that were called and offered a position, has HR sent any paperwork? My manager told me they’d email me the official offer and terms but she called last Wednesday and I still haven’t received anything.

I received my followup email fairly quickly, however I was called by HR directly and she said she would be emailing me as soon as we got off the phone.

@stressednewgrad3000 I haven’t gotten the email from HR yet either. Hopefully it comes soon! Also are you a part of the UCLA New Grad Summer 2019 group on FB? Did they mention to any of you whether we get a call/email if we didnt get the position after a unit tour or second interview?
