Does anyone know when the application for the upcoming new grad summer 2018 cohort opens?

Started this thread as a place to share questions/information for those of us applying! :)

The UCLA jobs website finally bounced back this morning & I was finally able to submit my application! I applied to SMH Adult ICU & RR Cardiothoracic ICU.

Yeah, I believe you have to submit the app first, then it redirects you to a page where you upload your docs! I personally had issues getting logged off, so all I needed to do was log back in.

To anypne that is worried about the BRN and processing ellibilty.....

I am taking the NCLEX next week and I graduated in December. Most of my classmates were able to take it at the beginning of March. I applied late (in Jan), most of my classmates applied at least 2 months before graduation. There definitely is a delay, but a lot of it depends on your school. Our transcripts did not get sent until the last week of Jan. Other people I know that graduated from a different school in Dec were able to take it in early Feb. I would expect about a 2 month delay from your graduation date to become elligible. Hope this helps! It is definitely stressful! Also licensing info is available on the BRN website about 2-3 days after you take the NCLEX.

I applied to the PICU and second for pediatrics. I am also from out of state- way out of state, Philly! It's my dream to work for UCLA but whatever happens, happens :) Good luck everyone.

Hi all, I'm just a bit late to this conversation, but can anyone tell me where to find the info for the person to address the cover letter to? I only have a name so far and I'm attempting to find a specific person's information. Thanks so much!

Hi all! When you review your completed app, do your unit choices show up? I am certain I selected my preferences, as this was a required question to move forward with the application; however, when I look at the summary of my application, this section is blank. Debating if I should withdraw the app and completely reapply before the deadline tomorrow. Anyone else have this problem?

This is from the UCLA FAQ page:

Who should the cover letter be addressed to? You have the following options:

a. To Whom it May Concern ( This allows you to use the letter for other facilities you are applying to)

b. If you would like to address it specifically for UCLA: Sheri Monsein- Manager, Nurse Recruitment or Stacey Sims- Nurse Recruiter
