UCLA New Graduate Residency Winter 2019-2020

I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Did you decide to take your nclex in CA? I'll be applying for the UCLA new grad residency in March and cannot decide whether to take the nclex in Ca or get it endorsed after I take it in TX. Have no idea which is faster!

If you're physically in CA already, I believe it's faster to just apply for a CA license. I graduated from TX too. I submitted my appliction around this time last year and was able to get ATT about 2nd week of March.

Oh awesome. Thanks for the info. So they sent your ATT in March, even though you didn’t graduate until May?

I graduated Dec 2018 ?. I applied for my CA license late cause I didn't know I was moving to CA till I end of December.

Hello! For peds, I saw that they were hiring for cardiac and onc. Does anyone know which unit is which? (5W and 3F)

Hi. yes, 3F is onc 5W is PEds Med Surg

I haven’t heard about anyone hearing anything from 8ICU either ??? I honestly don’t feel great about how I interviewed, but even getting a rejection email would bring me so much relief at this point
