Any news, NICU people?

Hard to believe our interview was just a week ago from today! I know they said a month, maybe even two but I am hoping we will all hear something sooner :) Especially with news in the air for a potential second interview.

The unit director told me today that no second interviews have been scheduled. But, it was unclear whether or not she meant they haven't been scheduled yet or that they won't be scheduled at all... So the wait continues...

Hello friends,

I am interviewing for the OR on May 15. I called the HR today and was told it was going to be a panel interview with 3-5 managers. The interview should be an hour long. The receptionist was unable to tell me if the interview was going to be behavioral style or situational or both.

To those of you who have had panel interviews at UCLA, could you please be kind enough to share your story on what is was like? How many candidates did you interview with? Did they ask you situational or behav style questions?

Also, does anyone know how many candidates they are looking to hire for the OR Program?

Your input will be highly appreciated.

And for those of you interviewing tmrw for ICU, PICU, and L&D - I wish you all the very BEST for the interview!!!

I interviewed for the CCU/ICU and I had the UD and CNS interview. I had both behavioral and clinical questions. I was the only one being interviewed at the time so I am not sure how it works with multiple interviewees. Hope that helps!

Still no one out there waiting to hear from L&D?? Seems like there's very few of us on here! During the last cohort applications there were tons of L&D folks posting. Ok, just looking for someone who might be waiting to hear back after the first interview last week like I am.

Hey! Nice to finally see someone else on here for L&D! Did you ask about 2nd interviews?

I called HR yesterday and asked if the interviews today were 2nd or just another day for 1st for some people and a lady said it was another day of first interviews and said she didn't think there were going to be 2nd rounds but that it's entirely up to the manager. Do you know anything about that?

Did you tour the unit after your interview with the peds director? I toured the unit and then talked to the assistant managers and an educator on the same day, but I'm wondering if it's because I'm from out of town?
