I've been checking on and off since midnight for the new grad RN positions to open. It appears as though the positions usually open around midnight (based on previous allnurses threads). Just wondering if if I'm the only one who can't seem to find the job posts? I've been up for the last 48 hours trying to reedit my resume and cover letter, so that is totally possible. :)
No problem and thank you! I actually received an email today for an interview for the Liver Transplant/Surgical ICU unit. They offered an option between 1/8/13 and 1/13/13 for days. There were multiple time slots for each day, so not sure how many people are interviewed. The email specified first interviews are 20 minutes long and then you will receive a call from a manager if you continue to a second interview. Does anyone know if they're group interviews or have any insight about how they have gone/types of questions in the past? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you!
Hi! Congrats on your interview! I interviewed for the CT-ICU last summer but was not selected for a 2nd interview. I had the similar email asking me to choose a timeslot. I interviewed with the Unit Director and the training coordinator. They asked me about a difficult situation I overcame in nursing school, an outcome that I had a direct effect on, and I can't remember the other stand out stuff. I'm not sure if the Liver ICU Unit Director will ask similar questions, but good luck!! You will do great. Do you mind me asking on what date did your status update change to "routed to interviewing supervisor"?
For the people that have applied to the CT-ICU, has anyone received any emails or updates?

Thanks so much, gmarie15! I saw that my status changed on Dec. 20th, but it's possible it changed a day earlier since I had not checked on the 19th. I received the email two days later. I've gathered from the CA new grad FB group that people have also heard from PICU and the OR, although no one mentioned anything about CT-ICU yet or any other units for that matter.
Hi everyone!
I received an email on 12/21 for interview for the PICU!! I had applied for PICU, Peds, and NICU. And I just graduated this semester.
I noticed that the required documents included a copy of CA license or interim permit. Since I just graduated, I still need to take a review course and won't likely sit for my boards until after my interview. Has anyone else been in this situation? And does anyone know what the start date of the residency program is?
Also, does anyone know if the interview is knowledge based or if it's more of a personality assessment? I'm trying to prepare as much as I can right now!
I just received my interview for the Cardio ICU. I am also in the same situation. I just graduated and plan to take the boards next year (Jan). I'm not sure if this is a requirement?
