UCLA New Grad RN 2013

Published

Hello to all prospective UCLA Nurses!

My name is Matthew and I'm a CSU Long Beach alumnus.

I'm currently working as a Super User RN for the UCLA Health System.

I hope this thread will be able to answer our questions about the application, interview process and a place for any updates anyone receives for the 2013 new grad program.

With that said, I was told by recruitment that applications will be made available in March. :)

I did have 2 letters of rec with me at the interview. I got an email 2 days after the interview for 5 references to fill out the online questionnaire as well.

Hi,

Did they specify the types of references needed?

Thank you

For everyone that interviewed for liver transplant ICU have you heard from the unit director yet?

Good luck to all of us!

Hi thisdoll,

I had my interview on Monday. That's what she told me too after my interview. I was just wondering if she started contacting anyone since, if I'm not mistaken, the last day of interview for her department was on the 10th. When was yours?

I had my interview on the 10th. She said wait about 2-3 weeks. And yes, there were only two days of interviews with the UD

I am interviewing with the UD in L&D on Tuesday. Anyone else have interviews this week?

Hi azRN! Congrats on your interview. Did you interview at the building on Wilshire? This is a logistical question because I will be coming with a couple things and hope there is a customer service desk I might be able to leave them at. (I am coming from San Francisco and going to the airport directly after).

Thanks so much!!!
