Just thought I'd share that I got the same email for RR PICU saying that I didnt get the position. For those that got the same message hopefully they'll be other opportunities for us! And for those that got hired congratulations and good luck!

I'm sorry you did not get the RR PICU position, I've been hearing and have been told, "if it's meant to be, it'll be" (I just wish it'll be, right NOW). I'm sure you'll have more opportunities coming your way soon enough.

I'm still anxiously waiting for any kind of response. After reading someone's post last night about their two friends getting the PICU position, I lost all hope. But now I'm confused and I really don't know what to think or feel now since I read your post and I have yet to hear anything from them?? Any response would be good, I just want relief from this agonizing waiting game, I'm losing sleep over this!

I agree that the waiting game is one of the most stressful parts. at least after you know and you can start moving on. I hope that you and everyone here get jobs! new grads gotta stick together!

Ca rn2011 I got the same call today. The ud told me last week that she was gonna hire me but now I ha e to interview with the cns on Monday. Don't understand it but I guess this means we still have a chance which is great!! Good luck with the cns. So is she calling tomorrow? Would u be willing to let me know it goes? Have no idea what to expect. I just know I really want this job!! I hope we both get it!. Im really starting to lose sleep over this ans just want to know at this point.

Hi Buckeye Nurse- Yeah, I'm a bit thrown at this point since I wasn't expecting it to go on like this. I am curious- since I thought the UD had the ultimate say in this. Also, are you going in person for the interview with the CNS? I am from Northern Cal and I was going to fly, but she said the phone would be fine. I think mine will be on Monday as well, since she did not call me yesterday. I don't know what else to expect either, but I will definitely let you know how it goes if I am before you and please let me know how it goes for you! Good luck to us!

Thanks CaRN2011! I applied for the oncology unit as well, but have not heard back either! I don't have my license yet, however I plan to take it in January. Sallyp911, haha no pressure right? =) the NCLEX seems daunting for sure! Hopefully kaplan will help!

HI CaliBecca- have you heard anything back from the UD? You interviewed for SM UCLA correct?

Im from nor California too lol. Its in gods hands right now so I will be praying for both of us! My sister said it could just be a formality. Since the ud already said she was gonna hire us. And the ud makes the ultimate decision so if we stay confident that we got this! The cna might just be trying to get a feel for us. Definitely wanna review assessment and skills though in case they ask questions. My sister is a nurse and said that could be a possibility. So just a heads up.

Since we think we met with the same Unit Manager, I wanted to let you know I got an email from her today asking me to call her today or tomorrow between 1400 and 1600, which I did but I got voicemail. Wondering if you got the same email or if you actually spoke to her. Uggh, sleeping tonight is gonna be tough. I wanted to PM you this but I can't send private messages. Oh well...

Oh how cool, I am from the Bay Area. So that would be very cool if we both got hired. I wonder since she told you she was trying to get more positions if that is why this is taking longer. Thanks for the heads up- I think we just have to remember its like another interview so treat it like its the first one. So did you say that you're having the interview with the CNS over the phone or in person??
