Hey guys...I have been reading this forum for a couple weeks now...keeping me sane as well...but I haven't heard anything for the NICU department yet? Has anyone gotten the offer or heard back from them yet? Please shine some insight folks! :) nervous!!
I emailed the UD on friday. They said that they had a few more interviews and are still deciding who is the best fit for their unit. Did you interview with the UD whose intials are A.S.? Good luck and let me know if you hear anything. and did you ask how many they were hiring? I forgot to ask that question
I called them to follow up. They said they were planning on hiring me and will call next week with details.they said they will be making calls this week.
Just remember that every department has a different amount of positions and different time frames of when they will make call backs. Im really inpatient so I called them. Lol

This was for UCLA SM Oncology right? I'm just wondering because I interviewed for that unit as well. I am really anxious about hearing back. Did the UD say anything else about the position? Do you remember how many she planned on hiring? I wish we just knew already. Congrats to you though, its semi-official:)
All I remember is that it was a quick phone call and she said she would be calling back because she was busy. How any units did u interview at for? I only interviewed for oncology. The only thing she said was that she may not be putting me with the new grad classes because I have my license already. Weird right? And that the position is day/night rotation. Since I will have to relocate to southern California I was wondering if u heard anything about when the program will start?
I only interviewed for the oncology unit. I think it will start anywhere between Feb-Mar. So there will be some time to make the move to socal. That is weird that she said that, how long have you had your license for? I'm just wondering if it has anything to do with your experience. Thanks for sharing by the way, its nice to talk to someone about all this!
I am anxiously waiting as well! I interviewed with RR peds last Nov 10. The NM said they will be hiring 10. I also called and left a vm with the NM last week, but no reply trying to keep my hopes up!!! :)
