Hang in there! Did you apply at SM or RR? From what I've read so far on this forum, it seems that the trend is that a lot of SM applicants are hearing back already, but I have yet to see an applicant for units having to do with children at RR receiving any news yet. My hope is that RR news will start flowing this week.

Hey Audster and RnNICU42: I applied to SM unfortunately...I am thinking of calling the individual I interviewed with. The told me mid-dec. but that just seems so far away right now...
I emailed the UD on friday. They said that they had a few more interviews and are still deciding who is the best fit for their unit. Did you interview with the UD whose intials are A.S.? Good luck and let me know if you hear anything. and did you ask how many they were hiring? I forgot to ask that question
Hey, I interviewed with the assistant directer i think..her initials are LD for SM and not RR. I went through this who forum/post since my interview date of 11/10/11 but haven't seen that anyone has heard back from NICU RR...did you see that on another post? I'm so anxious!!! I just actually called her and left a brief message. I hope that this isn't too intrusive or forward. You interviewed for RR or SM?
Did you only have one interview for Peds? Or did you have two? Also good luck to all I am sure everyone will start hearing back this week or next =)

I had one interview. The NM said that they had many many applicants and to give them 3 weeks to make their decisions. But it's been more than 3 weeks.. Good luck as well and best wishes!! I hope to hear news soon

I graduate in 2 weeks with my BSN so I won't take the NCLEX until January and I will start the end of February. I was so excited when she called (and half asleep from precepting nights) that I didn't ask any questions....so, now I have to e-mail her and get some details. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!

she had told me that she wouldnt be making decisions until the end of the year.. but then i talked to someone else that also interviewed for that floor and said she is trying for this week or next.
